Andrew Mayfield is a proven SaaS leader and entrepreneur with over 20 years’ experience scaling digital technology companies. He co-founded and sold Spikefin, and as CEO of Optimal Workshop grew the company into a global B-Corp-certified leader in UX research tools, achieving consistent 25% annual growth while building a worldwide customer base.

Today, Andrew is Founder of Ortomate, an AI-first automation studio, and continues to advise, invest, and support commercialisation opportunities across New Zealand’s digital technology sector. He brings deep expertise in product strategy, organisational design, and sustainable growth — combined with a curiosity for emerging technologies and a talent for connecting ideas across domains.

Based on the Kāpiti Coast, Andrew is focused on helping research ventures and startups translate innovation into lasting business impact.
